      Joanne W. Memorial Foundation is walking to wipe out ovarian cancer. Our mission is to bring ovarian cancer awareness to all citizens, especially in rural communities, and raise funds for ovarian cancer research.

      Race Day, April 4, 2026 While we walk in Summerton, SC you can join our virtual race to kick off our 2024 fundraising season. Every step you take will help us increase ovarian cancer awareness and bring an end to this silent killer among women.  Share your walk/run on social media using #iwalk4joanne #fortheovaries 

      It's simple! Register online, download Racery's App from Google Play or Apple App Store and follow the instructions in the email we send you! Then run, walk (or cycle) ANYWHERE starting on Race Day, April 4, 2026. You'll have one week, (7) days to complete the virtual JWC Ovarian Cancer Awareness Walk/Run.  

      Build a team, walk with the family or run solo. When the race period ends, digital awards will be given, based on final positions in the leader board.
